  • Resend, Inc. (USA) — Email delivery service for forwarding form enquiries. The transfer is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR / Art. 16 para. 2 lit. d Swiss DPA).

Where personal data is transferred to countries without an adequate level of data protection under Swiss law, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we collect and process the following data exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions:

Name, email address, subject, message, and optionally uploaded file attachments.

The submitted data is forwarded by email to our internal processing address. Uploaded files are stored temporarily (max. 30 days) on a secure cloud storage and then automatically deleted. We do not pass on this data to third parties without your consent.

Privacy Policy for the Freight Order Form

When you submit an enquiry or freight order via our online form, we collect and process the data listed below exclusively for order processing and communication with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance or pre-contractual measures).

Sender Company / Name, address (street, postcode, city, country), phone number, email address, EORI number, UID number.

Recipient Company / Name, address (street, postcode, city, country), EORI number, UID number, collection address.

Order Data Order type (enquiry or freight order), reference number, creation date, created-by name, destination station / port, destination country, ISO code, service type (e.g. air freight, sea freight, courier), importer / notify address.

Customs and Goods Description Customs items incl. tariff number (HS code), gross weight, net weight, unit of measure (quantity), threshold value with currency, marks and numbers, goods description (colis groups).

Transport and Insurance Details Selected Incoterm (Incoterms 2020), insurance request and insured value with currency.

Attachments and Documents Requested documents (e.g. commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin), other documents, uploaded files (PDF, Excel, Word, etc.).

Remarks Free text field for special instructions or notes.

The submitted data is forwarded by email to our internal processing address. Uploaded files are stored temporarily (max. 30 days) on a secure cloud storage and then automatically deleted. Data is only passed on to third parties where this is necessary for order processing (e.g. to transport partners or customs authorities).

Retention Periods

We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective processing purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations:

  • Contact enquiries: Email correspondence is retained for up to 2 years after the communication has concluded.
  • Freight orders: Order-related documents are stored for up to 10 years in accordance with commercial and tax law retention obligations.
  • Uploaded files: Automatically deleted from cloud storage after a maximum of 30 days.
  • Server log files: Typically deleted automatically after 30 days.

Server Log Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: IP address of the requesting computer, browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons.
